The Opportunity

Are you a growing customer-first professional with a passion for providing solutions and support? Triangle Fastener Corporation is seeking a local detail-oriented and service-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team in our Sales Team in our Raleigh, NC branch at 79 Rupert Rd, Raleigh NC 27603 . You’ll serve as the first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email-based customer inquiries, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and successful sales experience. In this position, you’ll support both individual customers and the Outside Sales team— managing quotes, orders, and day-to-day customer service that keeps projects on track and clients coming back . While this is an Associate-level opportunity open to all backgrounds, it is the perfect experience for recent college graduates and sales professionals growing from entry-level sales.

Your Part

As an Inside Sales Representative, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing timely and accurate customer quotes via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
• Handling walk-in sales and guiding customers through product selections
• Entering and processing orders with precision and speed
• Collaborating with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock levels meet demand
• Coordinating delivery schedules and providing updates to customers
• Supporting the Outside Sales team by managing backend processes and customer follow-ups
• Maintaining a clean and professional showroom and promoting featured products
• Addressing and resolving customer issues proactively and professionally
• Preparing and sending product samples, catalogs, and credit applications
• Reviewing open sales reports and ensuring data integrity
• Pulling counter orders as needed to ensure timely customer service
• Working closely with the Branch Operations Manager and other sales staff daily

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/365
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to learn and operate company software, including CSD
• Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering on promises
• Keen sales acumen

1+ year in sales-based customer service or related position

3+ years in inside sales or similar position

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate’s degree in business, sales, or related field
